Discover the fusion of flameworking and micromosaics. Learn to create delicate glass filati (stringers) at the torch and transform them into stunning miniature mosaics. Starting with basic torch techniques, students will learn to pull glass canes into long strands – simple designs for beginners, with opportunities for more advanced students to create complex patterns. You’ll learn to take these glass elements and cut them into tiny tiles, then arrange them in bezels to form miniature mosaics.
